How do I import records from Nettica to DNS Made Easy using AXFR.

You must first configure your domain in the Nettica control panel to allow AXFRs to outside name servers. This is done by creating an XFR record in Nettica and specifying the IPs of the DNS Made Easy AXFR systems (208.94.147.124 and 208.94.147.125).

We have a full tutorial that walks you through the process.  In this tutorial we explain how you can add this AXR record to a template so you can add this record to all of your domains at once.

 

NOTE: If you are using the Nettica redirection service your AXFR transfers will just come over as A records.  So if this is happening it would best to get a CSV download of all of your domain(s) and use our custom script to import your records.  The custom perl script uses our DNS Made Easy Rest API.
