Knowledgebase: Dynamic DNS
My computer is behind a firewall or using NAT. Can I still use the Dynamic IP service?

Yes, this is possible. Most of the DDNS clients we support will allow you to get your IP by an external source such as rather than just the IP of the local computer. So the correct IP will be obtained for the DDNS update.
