Can I create multiple MX records with the same MX level to get the mail sent to two different mail servers?

No, unfortunately this is not possible as the SMTP protocol does not operate in this fashion. A sending SMTP server will only send mail to one mail server (one MX record). If there are mutiple MX records with the same MX level/priority the sending SMTP server will send the email to one of them (round robin in nature).
