How do I replace the default System NS Records that DNS Made Easy assigns for my domain?
Posted by Darren Radsmith on 20 March 2006 07:14 PM

The System NS Records for a domain are the DNS Made Easy name servers assigned to that domain to use DNS Made Easy DNS services. These NS Records are assigned at the time the domain is created in the DNS Made Easy control panel. There are a few reasons it may be a requirement to replace these System NS Records which can not be edited or deleted by default.

It is possible a domain registrar has a restriction on the number of name servers that can be assigned to a domain. In this case, you would use a public vanity name server configuration

DNS Made Easy also supports vanity DNS configuration if you wish to rebrand our name servers using your own domain name.
