How do I check my query volume?
Posted by Darren Radsmith on 07 April 2006 03:27 PM

On the main page of the DNS Made Easy control panel once logged in, there is a "Recent DNS Query Activity" graph which can be used to review query totals by month, day, and per domain per month. If you do not see this graph present in your account, and the account was just created recently, then it may take time for the data to be calculated.

We also have real time query statistics available. Once logged into the DNS Made Easy control panel you would select a domain name and then click the "Real-Time Stats" button to view the data. An exaplaination of how this feature works and how to read the statistics is available here.

For additional reference, a legend for the charts is as follows:

◊ = root record
# = nx domain record name
* = wild card record name
∑ = aggregated value in the table

For non-Corporate members we hold the detailed data for 10 days.
For Corporate members we hold the detailed data for 45 days.
