How do I add an SOA record?
Posted by Darren Radsmith on 14 July 2006 10:46 PM

DNS Made Easy provides a default SOA record for all domain in our system. It is not required to create an SOA record unless you wish to change the default values we provide. DNS Made Easy's default SOA record is as follows:

yourdomain.com has SOA record nsX.dnsmadeeasy.com. dns.dnsmadeeasy.com. 2008010753 43200 3600 1209600 180

For information on the values of SOA records, and a tutorial for creating your own custom SOA record, please visit our tutorial here.
