Logging In Using An Emergency Key

Log In Using the Emergency Key

To log in to the Control Panel, on dnsmadeeasy.com, click on Control Panel under the Login button on the upper left-hand side of the screen. An emergency key is generated when Two-Factor Authentication is initially enabled on your account.

In the event that you no longer have access to your authenticator, this page will facilitate account login utilizing your emergency key.

1. Enter the username and click the Next button.

2. Enter the password associated with the username and click on the Login button.

3. Click on Unable to provide code?

4. This will populate the Deactivate Two-Factor Authentication screen that will allow you to enter the emergency key to log in.

Enter the emergency code and click on the Send button.

IMPORTANT: Accessing your account using the emergency key will deactivate two-factor authentication. To reactivate see Enable Two-Factor Authentication.

If you do not have access to your emergency key or authenticator, please email sales@dnsmadeeasy.com.

A Deactivate Two-Factor Authentication screen will populate to indicate that the feature was disabled successfully.
