Overview
Some DNS Made Easy menu options aren’t visible in your dashboard unless you have purchased specific services. This tutorial shows you how to access these additional services and domain add-ons.
How to Purchase DNS Addons
1. Navigate to Advanced > Purchase Services
After logging in to the DNS Made Easy dashboard, select Advanced from the top menu and then choose Purchase Services from the dropdown.
2. Purchase Extra DNS Addons
From the Purchase Extra DNS Addons tab, you have the option to add several DNS-related features including:
- Additional monthly queries
You are automatically invoiced for query overages based on your plan. This option is best for those who want to pre-purchase additional queries for internal billing purposes. Choices include 10 or 20 million monthly queries, billed annually. - Vanity nameserver IPs
Vanity nameserver IPs let you purchase dedicated IPs for nameservers using a reverse DNS configuration. - Additional domains
If you need to purchase additional domains for your account, you have the option to purchase single domains or in a pack of 1,000. - DNS Failover and System Monitoring
If you need additional DNS failover or system monitoring, you can purchase monitoring for one server or a pack of 10. - Additional records
If you want to increase your record quota, you can purchase packs of 300 additional records. - Global Traffic Director (GTD)
GTD allows you to optimize and route traffic based on user location for the fastest, most accurate query resolution possible. For business accounts, GTD can be purchased for additional domains in bulk (minimum of 50). - Corporate accounts have the option to add GTD for one additional domain or to 10 domains
How to Purchase Enterprise Mail Services
1. Navigate to Advanced > Purchase Services
After logging in to the DNS Made Easy dashboard, select Advanced from the top menu and then choose Purchase Services from the dropdown.
2. Purchase Enterprise Mail Services
From the Purchase Enterprise Mail Services tab, you have the option to add several mail features including:

- Backup mail services
You can purchase backup mail for a single domain or in packs of 10 or 100 domains. There is also an option for adding backup capacity (per domain) in the amounts of 3G, 5GB, 10GB, and 20GB. - Mail forwarding
Mail forwarding can be purchased for a single domain or in packs of 10 or 100 domains. - SMTP Service
To purchase any SMTP service, please call our sales team (+1 703-880-3095) as this is a manual upgrade. Once purchased, a support ticket can be opened and our team will assist with getting your SMTP service set up.- Accounts: Options include single accounts or a bundle of 10.
Extra emails can also be purchased: 500/day (max 2k per account). If you need more emails, contact our sales team. - Extra SMTP bandwidth: If you need higher bandwidth for your SMTP service, you can purchase an additional 100MB per day.

How to Purchase Support and Account Admin Add-ons
1. Navigate to Advanced > Purchase Services
After logging in to the DNS Made Easy dashboard, select Advanced from the top menu and then choose Purchase Services from the dropdown.
2. Purchase Support / Account Admin
From the Support/Acct Admin tab, you have the option to add several features including:
- Premium phone support
Corporate members can purchase a premium support plan. - SAML SSO
For enhanced login security, SAML can be purchased and configured for your account (Corporate members only). - Customized DNS support
Our team provides all members support with onboarding to DNS Made Easy. For additional support outside of standard processes, you can purchase customized DNS support during regular business hours for 30 minutes or 1 hour. Weekend support can also be purchased in 30-minute increments.

- System administration support
We have standard and advanced hourly system administration support options available (hourly). Please contact our sales team before purchasing this option to ensure you get the right service for your unique situation. - Check / PO / chargeback processing fee
- Customized DNS setup
Our DNS experts can set up your DNS for you to ensure a seamless and optimized configuration. - After hours support
Discounted after-hours support is available for corporate members. - Additional users
To add sub-users to your account, you have the option to purchase a single user or bundles of 10 or 100 sub-user accounts. - Customized support/setup
Our team can help you with advanced setup or customization support. This option is billed in increments of $10. - Extra API calls
If additional API calls are needed for your account or a sub-user’s account, you can purchase an extra 150 API calls per 300 seconds (per user). Contact support to upgrade APIs. - Unique IP to redirection for SSL
If you have SSL installed for your domain and need a unique IP to redirect any end-user hitting your old HTTP site to your new HTTPS site, you can purchase this add-on.
How to Purchase Miscellaneous Addons
1. Navigate to Advanced > Purchase Services
After logging in to the DNS Made Easy dashboard, select Advanced from the top menu and then choose Purchase Services from the dropdown.
2. Purchase Miscellaneous Addons
From the Miscellaneous Addons tab, you have the option to add the following services:
- Additional Query Logging Events
This option allows you to purchase packs of 5 extra query logging events per month. (Currently, business accounts include 5 query logs per month; corporate accounts include 25 per month). - Anomaly Detection
Our Anomaly Detection service lets you identify traffic spikes and suspicious activity in real-time. This offers excellent protection from DDoS attacks and unrivaled insight into your DNS. Monitoring options include city, regional, and world levels.
